WPL career details for Jamie Reed

Newtown AFC
Former Wrexham goal getter who was loaned to Aberystwyth for half a season after previous loan spells at Glentoran and Colwyn Bay. Returned to the Racecourse in January 2008 after netting nine Welsh Premier goals but, after a further loan spell at Tamworth, was released by Wrexham and signed a one-year deal at Rhyl. After a year with the Lilywhites, left in May 2009 to try and break into Major League Soccer in the USA. However, he soon returned to the UK and, after trialing with several clubs, joined Bangor City, where he was leading scorer in season 2009/10. Was allowed to join Dandenong Thunder in the Victorian Premier League (Australia) for the summer. Returned to Farrar Road to notch 17 goals in the first half of the season before moving to York City in the Blue Square Premier. After helping the Minstermen gain promotion to League Two and winning the FA Trophy, moved to Cambridge United and then Chester before returning to Australia, where he scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for South Melbourne. Signed for TNS in November 2014 but returned to Aberystwyth on-loan, eight years after making his debut for the Seasiders. Left TNS by mutual consent in January 2016 and signed for Llandudno. However, he left Maesdu Park six months later and rejoined Bangor. Moved back to Llandudno in January 2017. After six months he signed for Newtown.
