WPL career details for Lee Kendall

Highly rated son of late former Spurs keeper Mark Kendall, has played at Crystal Palace, Cardiff City and Barry Town. Signed for Haverfordwest County from Shrewsbury Town in January 2003. A Welsh Under-21 and semi-professional international, he was given the longest contract ever in the Welsh Premier in summer 2005 which was intended to keep him at New Bridge Meadow until 2010, but was released by mutual consent to join Rhyl in August 2007. Spent two seasons at Belle Vue before negotiating a mutual release from his contract in August 2009, joining Port Talbot. After a season and a half with the Steelmen, left to take up a coaching position with Sheffield United, but returned to the domestic league as a Neath player in June 2011. Left The Gnoll in a dispute over unpaid wages in October but, after playing for Bridgend Street in the Welsh League, returned to Neath at the beginning of January 2012. Announced his decision to retire at the end of season 2011/12 but returned to help Prestatyn out of a goalkeepering crisis in December 2012.
