EXPERIENCED midfielder Mark Connolly is the latest addition to the new-look squad at Llandudno.

The 33-year-old spent last season at Rhyl, latterly as caretaker manager following the departure of Niall McGuinness. Connolly made seven Welsh Premier appearances for Bangor City in 2003/4 after signing from West Cheshire Leaguers Mallaby in February 2004.

He then signed non-contract for TNS in June 2004 for the Uefa Cup games before returning to Farrar Road. He signed for Rhyl after season 2004/5 and enjoyed a prolific goal scoring season in 2009/10 before leaving to join the new Chester FC club.

A knee injury restricted his chances at the Exacta Stadium and he was loaned to Bala Town in January 2011 to regain match fitness, making the move permanent in August the same year and has scored 98 goals from 304 (+54) Welsh Premier appearances.
