CONNAH'S Quay have signed midfielders Michael Parker and Noah Edwards, both from Prestatyn Town.

Apart from a couple of appearances for Bangor City in 2006/7, 30-year-old Parker has spent the whole of his Welsh Premier career with the Seasiders and has scored 48 goals from 212 (+9) top flight appearances, as well as playing in the side that won the Welsh Cup and a Europe League victory over Latvian side, Liepajas Metalurgs.

Edwards, 21, is a product of the Airbus academy who joined Prestatyn in 2014 and has featured 30 (+4) times in the Welsh Premier, scoring three goals.

"I've been a big admirer of Michael Parker for many seasons - his experience and quality will certainly add to our squad," says Nomads' chief Andy Morrison. "I believe Noah has the talent and mentality to play at a much higher level and we look forward to continuing his development."
