CARDIFF Met edged a seven goal thriller at the Cyncoed Campus against Bala Town, whose European hopes now depend on success in the play-offs.

Mike Hayes handed the Lakesiders a 16th-minute lead, but the visitors were stunned by three goals in four minutes just before half-time from Jordan Lam, Will Evans and Eliot Evans.

Chris Venables pulled one back for Bala before Ben Bowler restored the home cushion, but Evan Horwood set-up a nail biting finish with a 77th-minute goal.

Already assured of a play-off spot, Barry Town United ran out 3-2 winners at Llandudno with a brace from Jonathan Hood and a rare goal from James Saddler. A Luke Cooper own goal and one from Danny Shaw were not enough for the Seasiders to threaten the visitors' grip on the three points.

Newtown ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over already-relegated Prestatyn Town at Latham Park. Ethan Jones notched a second half double and was only denied a hat-trick by a Carl Jones penalty save after Tom Kemp had fouled Ryan Sears. But Kieran Mills-Evans duly added another with a 90th-minute header from Alex Fletcher's free kick.
