GAVIN Chesterfield and Declan Walker have won the Welsh Premier League's awards for February.

Barry Town United manager Chesterfield guided his side to the top of the Play-Off Conference with victories away at Newtown and at home to Llandudno to lift his first manager of the month award since the club returned to the top flight last summer.

Full back Walker scored for Aberystwyth Town in a 3-1 away defeat at Barry, claimed a goal from the penalty spot in a 3-1 home win over Llandudno and then fired a hat-trick in a 3-3 away draw with Carmarthen to take his season's goal tally to 10.
