A HAT-TRICK from left back Declan Walker was in vain for Aberystwyth Town as Carmarthen scored twice in stoppage time to snatch an unlikely draw at Richmond Park.

The Seasiders went in front in the fourth minute when Walker drove a low free-kick through the home wall, but the Old Gold were level when Luke Bowen headed home from a set-piece.

Walker despatched a spot kick three minutes after the break to put the Seasiders ahead once again and appeared to have sealed three points when adding another on 68 minutes.

The game was in the third minute of stoppage time when sub Dwayne Coultress reduced the arrears and, in the seventh added minute, Lee Surman snatched the equaliser.

In Sunday's other game, Newtown won 1-0 away at Prestatyn with a fourth minute goal from Tom Goodwin, whose deflected shot came when the home side failed to clear a long throw-in.
