GOALKEEPER Lee Idzi was the unlikely scoring hero as Carmarthen completed a festive double over Aberystwyth Town with a 2-1 win at Park Avenue.

With the game deadlocked after 66 minutes, Idzi's goal kick sailed on the wind over opposite number Chris Mullock for his first-ever goal in more than 325 appearances.

Liam Griffiths added another for the Old Gold in the 90th-minute to secure three vital points, despite a response deep into stoppage time from Matthew Jones.

After playing out 180 goal-less minutes over the festive period, Llandudno claimed a late winner at Bangor City when Marc Williams charged down a clearance from keeper Matthew Hall before poking home.
