LLANDUDNO top the Welsh Premier with the only 100 percent record after a 1-0 home win over Connah's Quay.

The game's defining moment came after 21 minutes when Nomads' defender Mike Pearson was sent-off for a late tackle in th box, but the normally-reliable Sam Hart drove the resulting penalty wide.

However, the Seasiders prevailed when, in the 70th-minute, a defensive mix-up between keeper Jon Danby and centre-back George Horan gifted a chance to Toby Jones, who made no mistake to seal the win.

Bala Town beat Cardiff Met 2-1 at Maes Tegid with Nathan Burke opening the scoring with a low drive on 39 minutes. The visitors were back on level terms through an Adam Roscrow goal just before the hour mark but, four minutes from time, Chris Venables scored from a penalty at the second attempt after keeper Will Fuller saved the initial kick.

Carmarthen Town took a sixth-minute lead through Lewis Harling at Latham Park but that was as good as it got for the Old Gold. Jamie Price levelled from a free-kick and Jamie Reed then got the final touch to a Neil Mitchell shot just before the break.

With 20 minutes remaining, the Robins added a third when Nick Rushton converted from a Craig Williams cross and a first win of the season for Chris Hughes' side was sealed with a late Reed goal.
