VERSATILE utility man Andrai Jones, who can play in defence, midfield or as a forward, has signed for Bala Town.

The 25-year-old Liverpudlian started his career as a youth with Everton and Preston North End, moving to Bury where he made his first team debut in 2011. He went on to make 19 appearances with a short loan spell at Altrincham, before a free transfer to Barnsley, where he signed an 18-month contract with the Championship side.

He made his debut as a substitute in April 2013 in a 1–1 draw against Derby County but, in August of the same year, he joined League One side Tranmere Rovers on a month-long loan.

Released by Barnsley at the end of the season, Jones joined Gateshead where he made his debut against Wrexham prior to another 19 appearances. Released at the end of the season he signed a two-year deal with Southport in July 2015 and was sent off on his debut against Eastleigh, making another 31 appearances for the Sandgrounders.
