CORTEZ Belle has returned to Port Talbot Town for a third spell after spending last season with Merthyr Town.

The 33-year-old scored 34 goals from 133 (+4) appearances in the Welsh Premier for Llanelli, Port Talbot, Carmarthen Town and Connah's Quay.

After scoring 44 goals in two seasons for Merthyr Tydfil, Belle joined Chester City but was allowed to go to Newport County on loan in March 2005. The move was made permanent and he remained at Spytty Park until a move to Llanelli.

Although he joined the Reds as a striker in mid-season 2005/6, he was later deployed as a centre-back, but was released in the summer of 2007 and joined Halifax Town, later moving to Northwich Victoria and Chippenham Town.

Belle rejoined Merthyr in 2009 and re-emerged in the Welsh Premier with Port Talbot in August 2011. He spent two seasons with the Steelmen but moved to Carmarthen in June 2013 and spent a few months on-loan with the Nomads before switching back to Port Talbot in the summer of 2015 and then returning to Merthyr for a third spell in October the same year.
