GAP Connah's Quay cruised into the last eight of the Welsh Cup with a 4-1 home win over Buckley Town of the Huws Gray Alliance.

The Nomads were two goals to the good inside 18 minutes, TNS loanee Robbie Parry claiming the first with a shot from eight yards out.

Nathan Woolfe then found Callum Morris, who lifted the ball over Bucks' keeper Ben Jones from the edge of the box.

Morris completed a brace before half-time with a close range effort and the visitors' task became even more difficult four minutes after half-time when Jonny Taylor was sent-off for a challenge on Wes Baynes.

The 10-man Bucks managed to hold out until five minutes from time when Jay Crowther added a fourth for the Nomads, but did snatch a consolation goal through Dave Bryan in stoppage time.
