BANGOR City are to face a second winding-up petition after an earlier one was dismissed last month..

HMRC had an appeal dismissed at the High Court on June 6, but has launched a fresh bid to take the club to court.

The club said the tax authorities were making a "mountain out of a molehill" in a row over a bill paid a few days late when the first petition was dismissed.

Demoted from the Welsh Premier League after failing to gain the FAW Tier 1 licence for financial reasons earlier this year, the club faces a hearing of the second winding-up petition in the High Court on August 12.
