BALA Town and Cefn Druids learned their fate in the preliminary round of the Europa League with trips to San Marino and Lithuania respectively.

On paper at least, the Lakesiders have the easiest task against minnows Tre Fiori of San Marino who have previously lost at the first hurdle on all three occasions they have played - to Sant Julia of Andorra, Rudar Pljevlja ((Montenegro) and Valletta (Malta).

But the Ancients have a stiff tie against Lithuanians FC Trakai who were only formed in 2005 and promoted to their country's A League in 2014.

Previously in Europe, Trakai have progressed to the second qualifying round twice beating HB Torshavn (Faroe Islands) and Nomme Kalju (Estonia) while reaching the third stage last season with victories over St Johnstone and Norrkoping (Sweden), before losing out 2-4 on aggregate to Macedonian outfit Shkendija.

Ties will be played on June 28 and July 5 while Connah's Quay enter at the first qualifying round stage for which the draw will take place next week.
