ANDY Owens led the way with a hat-trick as Connah's Quay hammered Bangor City 6-1 to reach the final of the Welsh Cup for the first time in 20 years.
The game was over inside 38 minutes with Owens rising highest to head home from a Declan Poole cross before Ryan Wignall got through the City defence to beat keeper Matthew Hall in a one-on-one. And Michael Bakare then slid the ball home from a narrow angle to put the Nomads in complete control.
On 56 minutes, Owens added another with a 15-yarder and completed his threesome shortly afterwards. City did reduce the arrears from a George Harry penalty after Kai Edwards had handled but Nomads replied straight away when Nathan Woolfe made it six.
