WELSH Premier leaders Llandudno lost their 100 percent record as they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Prestatyn Town in the battle of the Seasiders on Thursday night.

The hosts took an early lead when Danny Hughes met a low corner from the right and sent a looping shot from 16 yards over keeper Carl Jones and into the top corner.

But the lead was short-lived as, two minutes later, Jack Kenny converted a right wing cross from Zyaac Edwards into the far corner.

The visitors got their noses in front after 62 minutes when Ben Maher headed home from a Ross Stephens flag kick but, after home keeper Dave Roberts had made two good saves to keep his side in the game, Lee Thomas scored a 70th-minute equaliser with a sliding shot from a Toby Jones cross.

And Prestatyn went close to a winner in the 87th-minute when a shot from Zyaac Edwards was cleared off the line by Danny Taylor.
