WELSH Premier clubs will again face opposition from Northern Ireland in friendlies ahead of their European campaigns.

The first three fixtures, on Saturday 17 June, will see Bala Town host Danske Bank Premiership champions Linfield at Maes Tegid, Connah's Quay travelling to Ulster to face fourth-placed finishers Ballymena United at Dixon Park, the home of Ballyclare Comrades FC, and Bangor City also making a trip across the Irish Sea to face Coleraine at the Showgrounds.

Linfield will be playing in the Champions League while Ballymena, who won the Europa League play-off final against Glenavon on Friday night, will return to Europe for the first time since an InterToto Cup appearance in 2004 and a Cup-Winners' Cup place in 1989.
