Eddie HopeAIRBUS UK Broughton are looking to new signing Eddie Hope to add some firepower to their attack.
The 24-year-old arrives from Midlands Alliance club Ellesmere Rangers, but will not be able to make his debut for the Wingmakers until the transfer window re-opens in January.
A former Shrewsbury Town apprentice who signed for Newtown from Montgomeryshire League outfit Bishops Castle in summer 2006, Hope left the Robins in October the same year after scoring one goal from five (+1) Welsh Premier appearances to join Biddulph Victoria.
He has been playing alongside ex-Welsh Premier frontman Danny Barton for the Shropshire outfit and has notched 12 goals so far this season.
"Craig Harrison and his backroom boys have been impressed with Eddie on the occasions that they have watched him this season, and I am sure he will bring an added dimension to the squad," says Wingmakers' secretary Phil Bailey, who adds that Airbus beat off interest from two other clubs to clinch his signature.
Hope will be re-united at The Airfield with his former Robins' manager Roger Preece, who was recently appoint to assist manager Harrison.
