Ian SheridanAIRBUS UK Broughton have paid an undisclosed fee to bring Colwyn Bay striker Ian Sheridan to The Airfield.
The 21-year-old was voted player of the season when with phoenix club AFC Liverpool and, after joining the Seagulls, was asked to play as a striker becoming top scorer at Llanellian Road with 22 goals last season as the club won promotion from the UniBond League Division One North.
Sheridan earned and then scored the crucial 84th-minute penalty which gave the Bay a 1-0 win in the play-off final over Lancaster City.
In May 2010 he was awarded both the player's and manager's player of the year awards but, after missing much of pre-season, has found it difficult to break into the first team this season.
Last week, Wingmakers' boss Craig Harrison signed midfielder Eddie Hope from Ellesmere Rangers as the club bids to seal a place in the Welsh Premier's top six.
"I am delighted to have them both on board, both players add something to the squad that we didn’t have before they arrived, hopefully they will help us drive on and improve both before and after the league splits in February,” says Harrison.
