RHYL are seeking financial support after weekend storms left their Belle Vue ground with severe damage.

Floodlights have been damaged and roof panels have been torn off leaving doubts over the home game against Gap Connah's Quay on December 19.

"This seems to be our hour of need on and off the pitch and time is of the essence," says managing director Mike Jones.

"Due to the high winds we have had a lot of storm damage and have found ourselves in a bit of a dilemma.

"The flood lights are broken and the roof panels have lifted.

"Our merry men here at the club are currently trying to do what they can to fix it.

"Fortunately we are away at Airbus this weekend but we are at home the next weekend.

"It's difficult to fix the lights as they are so high up and they need some expertise to be fixed.

"It’s hard because of Christmas but if there is anyone who wants to make a donation they are welcome to stop by as we are here everyday."

If you would like to make a donation you can visit Rhyl FC or you can contact Mike Jones on 07786 240112 or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
