James CoatesAFTER leaving Rhyl this week, goalkeeper James Coates has agreed to return to Vauxhall Motors and is expected to be in the Motormen's line-up for the Blue Square North clash at Northwich Victoria on New Year's Day.
The Manchester-based stopper made 11 Welsh Premier appearances for the Lilywhites after arriving on-loan from Northwich Victoria in the summer.
Coates was with Mansfield Town before joining TNS for their European campaign in 2004.
He was released without being awarded a contract and went on to play for Worcester City, Moor Green, Hucknall Town, Burton Albion, Leigh Genesis and Motors, where he was an ever-present last season and supporters' player of the year.
He was lured away to Vics in the summer but, before too long, it was clear he was surplus to requirements at the Marston Stadium and went out on loan to Rhyl.
