Joined Norwich City as a schoolboy and became a professional before a move to Wrexham, where he was a regular in Brian Flynn's first-team. Won a Wales under-18 cap and several at Under-21 level during his six years at the Racecourse. Called up to the senior squad but was forced to drop out through illness. Spent four seasons as player/boss at Haverfordwest before stepping down in October 2006 and being axed as a player by new manager Derek Brazil. Completed a switch to Carmarthen in November 2006.
