Budrys hat-trick hands Airbus win at Rhyl

Rhyl v Airbus

CHRIS Budrys notched a hat-trick as Airbus UK Broughton beat Rhyl 4-2 at Belle Vue.

A makeshift Wingmakers side took an early lead when Budrys scored from close range from a Jack Lewis cross, but Paul McManus equalised from a controversial free-kick and Marc Evans handed the Lillies a half-time lead with a well-taken goal.

Chris Thomas headed the visitors level from a corner after the break before Budrys struck twice inside three minutes, heading home from a Ryan Edwards cross and then a pinpoint Mike Hayes delivery.

Port Talbot won 4-0 at Goytre United with Jeff White grabbing a brace before Adam Wright and a Cortez Belle penalty completed a comfortable win.

Bangor City won 2-1 at newly-promoted Huws Gray Alliance outfit Holyhead Hotspur with goals from Liam Brownhill and Alan Bull, but Afan Lido lost 2-1 to a last-minute goal against Welsh Leaguers Tata Steel.
