A LATE goal from Ross Stephens gave Prestatyn Town a slender victory in a seven-goal thriller against neighbours Rhyl at Bastion Gardens. Michael Parker opened the scoring for the Seasiders before Russ Courtney levelled with a header. Ian Griffiths restored the lead before half-time with recent signing and former TNS and Bala striker John Toner again equalising for the Lilywhites. Ross Stephens then scored twice either side of a Rhyl penalty. Bala Town won 5-1 at Denbigh against a side containing five of their ex-players, with former Wrexham man Mark Jones notching a brace. Aberystwyth Town won 4-1 against Porthmadog with goals from Steff Edwards, trialist Keith Phillips, Gareth Hughes and Lewis Copling, with Craig Roberts replying for the Traeth outfit. |
