STRIKER Jamie Reed has parted company with Llandudno after six months and former club Bangor City are among those chasing his signature.
The 28-year-old ex-Wrexham goal-getter was named in the Citizens' squad for this evening's friendly against Warrenpoint Town.
Reed enjoyed his most prolific spell in the Welsh Premier with City, scoring 24 goals from 34 appearances in season 2009/10 and another 17 from 17 (+1) appearances in the first half of the following campaign before leaving in January to sign for York City in the Conference.
Reed had loan spells with Aberystwyth Town, Glentoran, Colwyn Bay and Tamworth while at Wrexham, before being released and signing a one-year deal at Rhyl.
After a year with the Lilywhites, he left in May 2009 to try and break into Major League Soccer in the USA. However, he soon returned to the UK and, after trialing with several clubs, joined Bangor and having a spell with Dandenong Thunder in the Victorian Premier League (Australia) for the summer.
After helping the Minstermen gain promotion to League Two and winning the FA Trophy, Reed moved to Cambridge United and then Chester before returning to to Australia, where he scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for South Melbourne.
He then signed for TNS in November 2014 but returned to Aberystwyth on-loan, eight years after making his debut for the Seasiders, joining Llandudno last January.
In all his WPL goal return totals 77 from 119 (+17) appearances.
