FORMER Airbus, Bangor City and Connah's Quay midfielder Tom Field has signed for Marine in Evo-Stik North.

The 32-year-old former Everton youth had experience at Leigh RMI before joined TNS for their Uefa Cup campaign in 2005, but was then released. Field went on to play for Vauxhall Motors, Chester and Northwich Victoria, before returning to the Welsh Premier with the Wingmakers in June 2012.

After three years during which he made six appearances in the Europa League and was named in the league's team of the season in 2014/15, Field left to join Chorley in National League North in December 2015. He also had a spell with Stockport County before returning to the WPL with Bangor City in June 2016.

However, his time with the Citizens lasted only a few weeks before a switch to the Nomads, where he was reunited for his former Airbus assistant manager Andy Morrison and completed a total of 102 (+11) domestic league appearances, scoring 27 goals.
