ABERYSWYTH Town have recruited defender Jonny Spittle from Airbus UK Broughton and striker Joe Phillips from Stourport Swifts.

Spittle has left relegated Airbus UK Broughton to remain in the Welsh Premier League with the Seasiders, who recently lost defender Sam Rodon to Haverfordwest County.

The 22-year-old played for Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Rochdale before joining Huws Gray Alliance outfit Llandudno in September 2013.

Spittle signed for the Wingmakers in May 2014 but returned to Llandudno on-loan in August 2015 before being recalled in February 2016, and has scored twice from 38 (+6) WPL appearances.

Phillips scored 16 goals in all competitions from 46 appearances last season.
