RYAN J Edwards, who spent most of last season with Airbus UK Broughton, has become the latest signing for Llandudno manager Alan Morgan.

The 23-year-old was a youth team product of Connah's Quay who was handed a first team chance in season 2012/13 and, after impressing in the Welsh Premier, signed a full-time pro contract with The New Saints in January 2014.

Loaned to Cefn Druids in September 2014 to gain more first team experience, Edwards was released by TNS at the end of the 2015/16 campaign and signed for Bala Town in August. Loaned to the Wingmakers in November 2016, he has scored 10 goals from his 87 (+29) Welsh Premier appearances.

"I’ve been after Ryan the last couple of years so I’m glad he decided to put pen to paper with us," Morgan says. "He’s caused us problems the past couple of seasons, so he’ll hopefully cause problems for our opposition out in the wide positions moving forward, he’s another good signing for us and I’m looking forward to working with him."
