GAP Connah's Quay and Bangor City maintained their bids for an automatic Europa League spot with victories against Cardiff Met and Carmarthen Town respectively.

The Nomads gained their first league win of the second phase, taking the lead through a Les Davies header after 34 minutes. Within six minutes the lead was doubled by Matty Williams and hopes of a comeback by the visitors were effectively ended when Emlyn Lewis was sent-off in the 69th-minute after receiving a second caution.

The Old Gold led twice at home to Bangor City with goals from Matthew Thomas and Liam Thomas, either side of a Dan Nardiello penalty after Yalany Baio had been felled in the box.

There were just four minutes of normal time left on the watch when Nardiello fired home the equaliser from the edge of the box and, in the final minute, he converted the winner from Bradley Jackson's lay-off.
