STRIKER Mark Jones has returned to Aberystwyth Town for a second spell after being loaned by Carmarthen Town, despite being the second highest scorer this season with seven goals.

The 28-year-old product of the Afan Lido youth system also spent time with the Cardiff City academy before returning to St Margaret's Way, where he top scored in the club's Welsh League campaign before joining Llanelli in September 2007.

Jones returned to Lido on-loan a year later, rejoining the Reds in January 2009, but was released in the summer, moving to Port Talbot Town.

He returned to Lido in October 2009 but signed for Aberystwyth on 31 December 2012. Jones spent three and a half seasons with the Black & Greens before joining Carmarthen in June 2015 and has scored 77 goals from his 181 (+39) Welsh Premier League appearances to date.
