DEFENDER Lee Owens has become the fourth player this year to return to Airbus UK Broughton after Glenn Rule, Leon Clowes and Steve Tomassen all rejoined the club.

The 30-year-old right back has arrived at the Wingmakers on-loan from Bala Town, where he moved last summer.

Owens first joined Airbus in the summer of 2012 after being out of the game for two years. He had previously joined Rhyl from Wigan Athletic in 2008 and had two spells punctuated by injury with Vauxhall Motors.

After four seasons with the Wingmakers, Owens signed for Bangor City in June 2016, but was released in pre-season and joined the Lakesiders.

He appeared in the starting line-up for all six Airbus Europa League ties and has made 93 (+7) Welsh Premier appearances to date.
