AIRBUS reached the Welsh Cup final for the first time in their history with a 7-0 demolition of Port Talbot Town at Newtown's Latham Park.

The Steelmen were never at the races after a blistering start by the Wingmakers yielded two goals inside the first nine minutes.

Tony Gray opened the account in the fourth minute, striking from the edge of the box before a corner from James Murphy was laid back to Ryan Wignall who swept the ball past Cann from 20 yards.

Airbus continued to create numerous chances and Wignall headed against the bar before the third goal on 35 minutes when, having first miscued in front of goal, Kevin Monteiro got a second chance following a scramble and put the ball away.

Airbus added a fourth after half-time when Gray beat his man down the left before crossing for Murphy to sweep home with a first-time shot.

The teenager added his second seven minutes later and Gray completed a hat-trick either side of the dismissal of Airbus sub Ryan Fraughan for a poor challenge.
