WREXHAM'S Glyndwr University Stadium will host the Welsh Cup final between Airbus UK Broughton and The New Saints on Monday May 2 with a 4.15pm kick-off.

"The stadium is located geographically between the two clubs, so it’s hoped that the event will be well supported by the club academies and all football fans in the community," says a statement from the FAW.

Wrexham last hosted the final in 2014, when TNS hit back to beat Aberystwyth Town 3-2 after trailing 2-0.

Airbus beat Port Talbot 7-0 to reach the showpiece for the first time, while TNS were 5-0 winners against Gap Connah's Quay.

The final will be televised live by S4C.
