NEUTRAL venues have been announced for the semi-finals of the FAW Welsh Cup, both of which will be played on Saturday April 1.

Broadcasters S4C have chosen to show live coverage of the tie between Caernarfon Town and Bala Town, which will be played at Rhyl's Belle Vue Stadium with a 5.15pm kick-off.

The Canaries are appearing at this stage of the competition for the first time in 29 years, while the Lakesiders have reached three previous semi-finals, failing to progress to the final.

Earlier in the day at 2.30pm, Gap Connah's Quay and holders The New Saints will clash at Bangor City's Nantporth ground.

Admission prices for the semi-final matches are adults £7, concessions £4 and Under-16s £1.
