THE Welsh League was guaranteed a representative in the semi-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup when Barry Town United and Haverfordwest County were paired in the draw this evening.

Both clubs beat Welsh Premier opposition in midweek, the Dragons overcoming Cardiff Met 1-0 and the Bluebirds seeing-off Aberystwyth Town by the same scoreline.

The other game in the southern half of the draw will see Newtown at home to Carmarthen Town, who lifted the trophy in 2013 and 2014.

Holders The New Saints face a trip to Nantporth to face Bangor City while Gap Connah's Quay are at home to Rhyl in the other last eight tie. Games are scheduled to be played on Tuesday 25 October.
