WITH joint leaders Caernarfon frustrated by a waterlogged pitch at Conwy's Y Morfa, Cefn Druids took advantage to go top of the Huws Gray Alliance with a 2-1 win over another side with promotion ambitions, Prestatyn Town.

A brace from Steve Blenkinsop did the trick after the Ancients had fallen behind to a 21st-minute goal from Jordan Davies, but the home side were helped by the dismissal of Prestatyn's Alex Williams before the break.

The league's biggest crowd of the season, 740, watched Flint Town United beat local rivals Holywell Town 3-0 at Cae-y-Castell.

Shaun Beck opened the scoring with Steve Cunningham adding the second on his and player/coach John Hill scoring the third.
