CAERNARFON Town gained an important win to head Cefn Druids on goal difference at the top of the Huws Gray Alliance.

The Canaries won 2-1 at fellow promotion contenders Prestatyn Town, after Mike Parker had given the hosts an seventh-minute lead. Nathan Craig equalised on the half hour and Airbus loanee Ellis Healing got the winner just before half time.

In the only other game, Denbigh Town returned to form with a 2-0 home win over Porthmadog. Mark Roberts put the home side in front on 67 minutes and Kristian Pierce scored the second goal three minutes later.
