PRESTATYN Town chairman Chris Tipping has urged more fund-raising to prevent the club from folding in 10 days' time.
The club needs to find a total of £53,000 to fend-off a winding-up order from HM Revenue and Customs on November 24.
Praising the "fantastic fund raising efforts" made by supporters, players, staff and the many good Friends of the club over the last few weeks, Tipping warned on the club's Facebook page that a "huge effort is still required if we are to survive."
Following a 10-2 away thrashing of Mold Alexandra on Saturday and a fun day at the club on Sunday, Tipping wrote: "Ok so yesterday was a blast, great fun by all and some great banter - loads raised, well done everyone.
But the facts are:
1 We are still £20k short with 10 days to go.
2 If we don't get it paid on the 24th we lose our club and days like yesterday are simply a memory.
There is no second chance here people - if the money isn't raised we lose the club and all that goes with it, it's history, the community spirit, friendship, etc.
That means we only have two games left and the club's gone! If you are still thinking things are ok, and we'll be alright..don't. We don't pay they take it away.
If you have some spare cash or want to join the membership scheme do it today, not tomorrow.
Sorry to be so blunt, but with only 10 days left, the urgency is now higher than ever.
If you wish to make a donation through sponsorship, please contact me directly, remember it's tax deductible for your own business and full documentation will be given for your books.
Sorry to be so blunt guys, but time's running out!
Please don't just share!.. donate and share!"
