PRESTATYN Town triumphed 4-1 at The Oval as they hammered reigning Huws Gray Alliance champions Caernarfon Town 4-1 to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.

Ben Maher opened the Seasiders' account on 23 minutes before Jordan Davies notched his seventh goal in three games from the spot. Noah Edwards extended the lead before a bizzare finish in stoppage time.

Referee Huw Jones halted play for a head injury but, when play was restarted, Darren Thomas ran forward before drilling the ball in the net instead of returning it to the visitors.

In a melee that followed Thomas was red-carded and, from the restart, the Canaries allowed Maher to run unopposed and restore the three-goal cushion.

Porthmadog and Caersws also have a 100 percent record after three games, the former winning 3-1 at home to Ruthin Town with goals from Julian Williams, Cai Jones and Gruff Williams. Caersws won 3-1 at Mold Alex with Sean Evans, Lance Jones and Elliott Jones their scorers.

Flint Town United are fourth after a 2-1 away win at Conwy Borough, who claimed a consolation from Lee Davey after Richard Foulkes and Stewart Carroll netted for the Silkmen.

Adam Jenkins claimed a brace as Guilsfield beat Holyhead 2-0, while Buckley Town downed Dengigh 2-1 thanks to a Danny Burgess winner on 75 minutes.

Gresford Athletic hit five at Llanfair, former Airbus and Rhyl midfielder Jake Eyre claiming two alongside Jack Roberts, Sam Richardson and a Steve Andrews own goal. Jamies Davies and Andrew Hughes replied for the home side.

A late goal from Dylan James earned newly-promoted Penrhyncoch a 1-1 draw at Holywell, who had been gifted the lead by a Jon Foligno own goal.
