HUWS Gray Alliance leaders Prestatyn Town lost their 100 percent record at the eighth time of asking as they were held to a 1-1 home draw by Porthmadog.

The visitors took a 53rd-minute lead through Chris Jones, but Mike Parker had the Seasiders back on level terms two minutes later.

Prestatyn remain two points clear of Caernarfon Town, who were also held to a 1-1 home draw. Former Newtown midfielder Sean Evans put Caersws in front after 11 minutes with Jamie Breese salvaging a point for the Canaries in the 77th after the Bluebirds had Jolyon Harries sent-off.

Buckley Town and Flint Town United also shared a 1-1 draw in the Flintshire derby, both goals arriving in stoppage time. The Silkmen were celebrating in the 94th-minute when Richie Foulkes found the back of the net with a deflected shot, but Brad Cole equalised straight from the restart.

Holywell Town despatched Conwy Borough 4-1 at Halkyn Road with Lee Healey claiming a brace while in-form Gresford Athletic defeated Denbigh Town 4-2. But the home side were forced to come back from behind twice. Alan Bull and Paul Hart scored for the visitors with Jake Eyre equalising on both occasions. Jake Roberts and Tom Wells then scored the goals that won the game for the host.

Holyhead Hotspur returned to winning ways with a 4-0 win at Llanfair United, Asa Thomas notching a hat-trick on his debut for the Harbourmen.

Under new manager Neil Wynne, Mold Alex put their recent nightmares behind them with a 2-2 draw at home to Guilsfield, although they trailed 2-0 before goals from Andreas Economides and Mattyy Lewis.

In a bottom of the table clash, Penrhyncoch took the points at Ruthin Town with a second half Mark Gornall penalty.
