DEFENDER Joe Culshaw has left Bangor City in search of regular first team football.

The 21-year-old tweeted "As of last night I have left @bangorcityfc I'd like to thank all @BangorCityFans for your support! Top club, top fans and a great bunch of lads!"

The Carrog-born defender was a youth at Wrexham before being released and signing a one-year deal with Morecambe.

Voted Under-18s player of the year he was released by the Shrimpers and played for Lancaster City along with a loan spell at Cefn Druids in the Huws Gray Alliance in 2012/13 before joining Bangor in 2013, where he made 14 (+12) Welsh Premier appearances.
