NEWTOWN manager Bernie McNally has responded to last week's home defeat at the hands of fellow relegation strugglers Afan Lido by telling some players to start looking for other clubs.

And notices of approach have been served on two clubs with McNally believed to be targeting the return to Latham Park of Aberystwyth Town defender Adam Worton.

Originally on the books of Hereford United, the 25-year-old Worton spent five seasons with the Robins between 2006 and 2011, making 125 Welsh Premier appearances before spending a full season with Airbus UK Broughton.

Released from the Airfield due to work commitments at the end of last season, Worton has made 14 (+2) appearances for Aberystwyth this season.

One player definitely leaving Newtown is frontman Steve Blenkinsop, who joined the club in the summer of 2011 and has scored five goals from 24 (+15) appearances.

The 23-year-old has signed for Huws Gray Alliance outfit Cefn Druids, while Montgomery Town have served seven day's notice for the return of fellow striker Elliott Jones, who has featured mainly from the bench since arriving at Latham Park this summer.
