LEE Kendall has answered an SOS call from Prestatyn Town as cover for injured first-choice gloveman Jon Hill-Dunt.

The 31-year-old Cardiff-based stopper, who announced his retirement in the summer to focus on his coaching career with Cardiff City, is a free agent having left Neath at the end of last season.

Hill-Dunt is ruled out of tonight's trip to Bangor City with an Achilles problem and Kendall is preferred to understudy Gareth Barker, who played the last hour of Saturday's 5-2 home defeat at the hands of Newtown.

Kendall has previously made 271 Welsh Premier appearances for Barry Town, Haverfordwest County, Rhyl, Port Talbot and Neath and is a former Wales Under-21 and Welsh semi-pro international.
