PORT Talbot say that Chad Bond has rejoined the club after returning from the USA.

Capped by Wales at Under-19 and semi-pro levels, the 25-year-old spent time on loan at Newport County in 2003/4 and signed a professional contract with Swansea City in May 2005 but was released the following year.

He joined Port Talbot in the summer of 2006 but, after being re-signed by the Swans when Roberto Martinez became manager, he remained on-loan with the Steelmen until his recall in January 2008.

After further loan spells with Spanish club CF Balaguer and Swedish outfit Ostersunds FK, Bond was released from the Liberty Stadium and signed for Neath in August 2010.

After a season at The Gnoll he was again released and signed for Llanelli in July 2011 but was allowed to join Afan Lido on-loan in January 2012 before leaving to play in the USA with LA Blues.

Bond has scored 20 goals from 74 (+22) WPL appearances.
