Geoff KellawayABERYSTWYTH have suffered a blow with the news that wingman Geoff Kellaway sustained a broken ankle in the 2-1 defeat to Llanelli on Friday night.
Kellaway has notched eight goals in the last seven games in all competitions and his injury will not help the Seasiders' bid to climb away from the relegation zone.
Promoted from Aberystwyth's reserves to become a first-team regular, Kellaway was voted into the Welsh Premier team of the season in 2009/10.
He then left for a short spell in Australia with Victoria League outfit Dandenong Thunder and, after catching the eye during a friendly, he joined A League outfit Melbourne Victory on a three-month deal in August 2010.
He returned to the Seasiders the following July after not being offered a contract extension and has now claimed 28 goals from 115 (+16) league appearances for Aberystwyth.
