Andy LeggWITH the cold weather forecast to continue for the rest of this week, the Welsh Premier's festive programme is facing a potential wipeout.
Llanelli, who have the largest fixture backlog of any club, are already anticipating postponement of their home Boxing Day fixture against Carmarthen Town by announcing that manager Andy Legg will hold a Meet the Manager forum at the Reds' social club at one o'clock on Sunday.
"This has been arranged with the impending postponement of the Reds' home game with Carmarthen in mind, as the bad weather that we are experiencing at the moment is expected to continue over the Christmas weekend," says general manager Nigel Richards.
Elsewhere, prospects are bleak for sufficient thaw to unfreeze pitches at Airbus, Haverfordwest, Neath or Newtown, who are all due to host Boxing Day fixtures.
Bangor City's match with Prestatyn Town is on Monday December 27.
Tuesday night's fixture between Haverfordwest County and Carmarthen has been postponed.
