MIDFIELDER Robbie Millington looks set to be manager Andy Cale's first signing of the January transfer window.
Midland Alliance outfit Bridgnorth Town have announced that the 18-year-old has told the club that he wants to join the Robins after making an approach himself.
"Robbie is a very promising youngster and he has approached us, though we have not made any contact with Bridgnorth," says a statement from Latham Park.
"He is just the type of young talent we are looking for and it appears that he has cleared everything with Bridgnorth."
Bridgnorth boss Lee Mills says: "Robbie is going to go to Newtown in the Welsh Premier in January and he goes with our blessing.
"He is a talented young lad with a fantastic attitude, has worked hard and now has his rewards."
