| "Dreadful" performance by new leaders |

DESPITE returning to the top of the Welsh Premier, Llanelli player-boss Andy Legg was disappointed with his side's performance at Newtown. Second-half goals from Stuart Jones and Jordan Follows sank the Robins, who played with 10-men from the 22nd-minute following the dismissal of defender Damien Daniels. "The performance was dreadful, I'm not very happy, but all I can say is the lads kept going," said Legg. "We ground out a result against a Newtown side that was down to 10-men early doors, but I'm very disappointed with our performance." Aberystwyth boss Alun Morgan was another unhappy man after a 2-0 defeat at Airbus UK Broughton. "It is a case of going back to the drawing board I am afraid," said the Park Avenue chief. "We are not finding that kind of consistency which fired us up the table into fifth spot. "There is no point feeling sorry for ourselves, we need to sharpen our act and get things right in our next game." But Wingmakers' manager Craig Harrison was delighted with a first-ever home win over the Seasiders. "Today we had that mentality in the second-half, it's become a battle, the pitch is heavy and to be fair we've got some strong lads," he said. "We had that battling quality as well as a little bit of football and score two good goals - Jiws' header was fantastic."
