ANDY Morrison was appointed director of football with the Nomads in November 2015, four months after leaving Airbus UK Broughton where he had been assistant to Andy Preece since January 2012. He was an integral part of the Wingmakers' success in achieving European qualification in three consecutive seasons.
The Scot made 264 appearances for Plymouth Argyle, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United. He was assistant to Preece at Worcester City and Northwich Victoria before the duo joined Airbus.
Morrison is now an ambassador for Manchester City, the club he captained to victory over Gillingham in the Division Two play-off final at Wembley.
