Fixture backlog mounts for Welsh League

Brewery FieldONLY one first division game survived the elements in the Welsh League as Caldicot Town took advantage to claim second place behind leaders Goytre United with a 3-0 home win over Cambrian & Clydach.
The fixture was the first to be played for more than a month as a the mounting backlog continues to cause headaches for officials.
The season has already been extended twice and is now scheduled to finish on May 22.
None of the Nathaniel Car Sales League Cup quarter-finals have been played yet, although three have been rearranged.
